Elevate is a grant writing and nonprofit development strategy firm in Washington, DC. Our unique model allows us to provide affordable and impactful foundation fundraising strategy and grant writing capacity to our roughly 85 clients – lean and effective nonprofits in need of sustainable funding to carry out their social change missions.

Elevate’s Operations & Marketing Team is comprised of dynamic, bright, and passionate individuals who work behind the scenes to promote Elevate’s mission. This collaborative team is Elevate’s creative problem solvers, efficiency enthusiasts, and business builders.

Elevate seeks dedicated individuals to learn from and support our growing team. Elevate’s Operations & Marketing Internship will include a variety growth opportunities and projects customized to the individual’s career goals.

 Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities could include the following:

  • Contribute to outreach efforts to help promote Elevate’s webinars, workshops, and other services;
  • Create content for Elevate’s blog and social media platforms;
  • Engage with clients and followers across Elevate’s social media platforms;
  • Work with Marketing Manager and Client Partnerships team to compile a Client Case Studies and other content that showcases our clients’ work;
  • Shadow a variety of internal Operations, Marketing, Business Development, and Client meetings to learn how these departments work together;
  • Interviewing Elevate staff and creating internal engagement communications;
  • Support Elevate’s Client Partnership team through research and analysis;
  • Contribute to maintaining Elevate’s internal database through data entry and analysis;
  • Improve Elevate’s database usage across departments; and
  • Work with Elevate’s Senior Operations Associate to develop career skills and refine application materials.
